All New, All Different
Early February, we opened the doors of our newest store in HSR Layout – our 82nd store in Bengaluru.
And the response thus far, has been overwhelming! Thank you, dear Chai community for your engagement and acknowledgement.
If you’ve had the chance to visit or come by the new HSR store, you may have noticed that there’s a distinctly unique look and feel to it. So what was the idea behind the new store? Here’s what Dattatreya OV, General Manager – Store Design had to say:
“Our idea for the new HSR store was to give it a feel that is fresh and contemporary while expressing its Indian roots. Indian design for a global market with standards that are international. An experience that brightens lives and brings people together. “
Mission 55:
February also saw us celebrate a unique landmark – Mission 55. We’re ecstatic to share that we’ve opened 55 new Chai Point stores across Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Pune & Mumbai for the financial year 2019 – 2020.
After having launched 31 new stores from April 2019 – October 2019, there has been constant hustling behind the scenes at breakneck speed to open 24 new stores in the short span of 3 months. We concluded our mission by clocking a record high opening of 10 new stores in the month of January 2019!
The synergy displayed by our Real Estate, Projects & Design teams has been nothing short of exemplary which has enabled us to achieve this nearly monumental milestone in a relatively short period of time. We applaud the efforts of the teams and all other support functions that have made this seamlessly realisable.
